Highlights: If you are like me. you have read or heard of seeing African animals up close in their natural environment, Even the word “safari” conjures up a visual picture of Africa. Here is your chance to put yourself in the middle of that picture. We travel to Tanzania to start our 13-day adventure through the heart of Africa. Expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest and many more animals roaming the Serengeti (which means ”endless plain” in the Maasai language). We will spend 11 nights in comfortable, but basic, lodges or tented camps, all of which feature private baths: not exactly “roughing it”.
