Highlights: Join us as we travel to Boothbay Harbor, ME to celebrate Windjammer Days and enjoy the beauty of fully rigged windjammers sailing into Boothbay Harbor, waterfront concerts, special crafts and fireworks over the harbor. We’ll spend 2 nights harborfront at the Boothbay Harbor Inn, 2 Breakfasts and 2 Dinners (one a Lobsterbake and other dinner and entertainment at the Carousel Music Theater). Come and discover nature at its’ very best at America’s First National Park. On this west adventure, we fly into Salt Lake City, Utah and enjoy a tour of the city to include the Mormon Temple and the world renowned Tabernacle Choir. We travel to Mammoth Hot Springs to explore limestone pools, ledges and plateaus where thermal activity is in constant flux. We will visit the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center to experience the world of grizzly bears and grey wolves. Visit to Old Faithful to witness an eruption. View Geyser Basin and Fountain Paint Pots. We exit through Yellowstone’s south gate to the cowboy resort town of Jackson with plenty of old western charm. When we explore Grand Teton National Park we will witness a magnificent landscape that has inspired authors and poets. We take a scenic cruise of Jenny Lake and learn about the history and geology of this magnificent area. Gratuities for our Tour Director, Driver and Local Guides are included. Highlights: If you are like me. you have read or heard of seeing
African animals up close in their natural environment, Even the
word “safari” conjures up a visual picture of Africa. Here is your
chance to put yourself in the middle of that picture. We travel to
Tanzania to start our 13-day adventure through the heart of Africa.
Expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest and many more
animals roaming the Serengeti (which means ”endless plain” in
the Maasai language). We will spend 11 nights in comfortable, but
basic, lodges or tented camps, all of which feature private baths:
not exactly “roughing it”. Connie and I look at this as a lifetime
experience as you will as well. This is a small group tour that is
limited to 16 people.
